Our scenic flights give you the options of departing from our helicopter pads and viewing the Great Barrier Reef and/or World Heritage listed Rainforest. Our flight times vary from ten to sixty minute duration and can also be taken from the pontoons at the reef.
If you are short on time this is a great way to see the Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics World Heritage Areas.
From Cairns
Reef Pontoon Scenic Flight

These flight occur only from the heart of the reefs themselves providing you with a view of the reef that few ever see. We will give you as breathtaking view of the Great Barrier Reef and you will be surprised by the sheer size of the reef as it stretches off into the horizon. Every reef is different and have their own colour and marine wildlife.

If your time is limited, or you don't enjoy boat travel, this is the perfect way to experience the true beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. On this thirty minute flight, you will head towards Green Island. A circuit of Green Island will allow you to photograph this picturesque island and its surrounding reef, then you will fly over Arlington reef and past Upolo Cay, on your return flight to Cairns. Deluxe Reef Scenic Flight

A little more time on this forty minute flight, but a lot more reef! This deluxe Reef experience is a great way to enjoy the true beauty and size of the Great Barrier Reef. After taking off from Cairns you will fly to Green Island, where photographic opportunities abound. After circling Green Island and its surrounding reef, its over to Arlington Reef, where the extra ten minutes flight time will allow you to explore the reef and its marine life a little longer, including the possibility of touching down on Vlassoff Cay. The Deluxe Reef and Rainforest tour is an incredible way to experience the two World Heritage areas. On your sixty minute flight you will fly over Cairns to the surrounding mountains of the Great Dividing Range. Here you will enjoy incredible photographic opportunities of the Tropical Rainforest, with breath taking views of rainforest clad mountains and valley's. From here you will cross the coast and fly to the Great Barrier Reef, viewing secluded Coral Cays exploring the outer reef system, including Arlington Reef. As you leave the Port Douglas Helipad you will pass over the vibrant village of Port Douglas, followed by the never ending fields of Sugarcane. You will then approach the Great Dividing range where you will soar over the awesome Tropical Rainforest, of the Wet Topics World Heritage Area. Photo opportunities abound as you fly past Mossman Gorge, viewing some breath-taking rainforest clad waterfalls to the Daintree River. Then it is over the Alexander Range and Cow Bay before joining the coast at Cooper Creek, where you will follow the coastline, past Snapper Island, the mouth of the Daintree River, and returning to Port Douglas.
