GBR Helicopters operates a fleet of ten helicopters comprising six turbine helicopters (four Bell 206B Jetrangers, one Bell 206L Longranger, one Eurocopter AS350 Squirrel), and four Robinson R44 piston engine helicopters.  Having one of the largest fleets in North Queensland enables the company to rapidly deploy aircraft to service remote contracts as required.

All aircraft are equipped with satellite tracking systems, VHF and UHF radios and ELTs (Emergency Location Transmitters).  All turbine helicopters are equipped for sling work.  GPS mapping technology is available on request.

GBR Helicopters’ pilots have extensive experience in low level pipeline inspections, power line inspections, vegetation surveys, flood relief work, fire-spotting, search and rescue, long-line sling work and aerial incendiary operations.

The company’s maintenance facility comprises a team of licensed aircraft engineers, able to travel to remote locations where engineering support for commercial operations is required.
